One of the stars of Off Campus has addressed Season 2 of the series and discussed what they want to see in the next installment. In an interview, while noting how there are exciting things in store for their character, they highlighted a specific part in the books they wished to see adapted.
Antonio Cipriano talks about Off Campus Season 2
Antonio Cipriano said he doesn’t know much about what happens in Off Campus Season 2. However, he told Entertainment Weekly that there would be “great stuff” for his character, John Logan, and his love interest in the book, Grace Ivers. Notably, The Agency’s India Fowler has reportedly been cast as the latter for the sophomore installment (via Deadline).
“There’s a really wonderful water tower scene from the books,” he added. “I’ve been told that there might be some of that in there. It’s gonna be good.”
Amazon Prime Video has not confirmed which book Season 2 is adapting. Grace’s introduction points to the second book in Elle Kennedy’s series, The Mistake. However, it seems the show might be taking a different approach based on the developing romantic subplot shown in Season 1.
The inaugural installment heavily set up Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes’ romance. Thus, they are likely taking center stage in Off Campus Season 2. As such, the next installment could cover the third book, The Score, where Dean and Allie’s relationship drives the plot, before exploring John and Grace’s romance, as chronicled in The Mistake, in a possible Season 3.
All eight episodes of Season 1 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It adapts the first book in Kennedy’s series, The Deal. The story follows the fake-turned-genuine romantic relationship between Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells.
Louisa Levy created the series, also serving as showrunner alongside Gina Fattore. Additionally, the pair are executive producers alongside Leanna Billings, Marty Bowen, Neal Flaherty, Wyck Godfrey, James Seidman, and Silver Tree. Meanwhile, Ryan Silva produced it.
Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli star as Wells and Graham. The supporting cast includes Antonio Cipriano, Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Josh Heuston, and Steve Howey.
