Brock Lesnar Storms Back to WWE Raw After Retirement Tease

Following weeks of retirement speculation, Brock Lesnar made his return on WWE Raw. After weeks of uncertainty that left fans wondering what was next, the 10-time WWE world champion made his presence felt once again. The move comes ahead of the next premium live event schedule.

Brock Lesnar makes a return to WWE Raw

Brock Lesnar’s supposed farewell at WrestleMania 42 proved short-lived. The Beast returned to WWE Raw Monday night, ending weeks of retirement speculation. Lesnar’s last appearance saw him lose to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 Night Two. He closed the segment by removing his gloves and boots in the center of the ring, signaling what appeared to be the end of his career.

WWE subsequently shifted Lesnar to the Alumni section of its official roster page. While many fans expected Lesnar to return for at least one more match at SummerSlam later this year, the former WWE Champion appeared to be retired. However, a month after his apparent retirement, he returned during Femi’s weekly open challenge. Lesnar attacked Femi from behind, delivered multiple F5s, and left The Ruler lying out as fans looked on in disbelief.

After the attack, a furious Adam Pearce was shown backstage demanding a meeting with Paul Heyman, noting he had already processed Lesnar’s retirement paperwork. When Pearce entered his office, Heyman was already there waiting. The commentator first claimed Lesnar was still retired, then handed Pearce a contract already signed by the former WWE Champion for a match with Femi at Clash in Italy. Heyman added that securing Femi’s signature would lock in the biggest rematch in WWE history later this month.

The proposed Lesnar vs. Femi rematch sent fans into a frenzy online. One wrote, “Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi in Italy… this might break the entire arena.” “So Brock retirement was insignificant and pointless,” questioned another. “That matchup is going to be pure heavyweight chaos,” read a hype comment.

For now, Lesnar is back in WWE. If Femi signs the contract, he’ll get another shot at The Beast later this month at Clash in Italy.
