Monday Night Raw’s broadcast team announced that Logan Paul’s weekend appearance at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event resulted in a torn tricep injury. They did not provide a date for when Paul would be back in front of WWE fans.
Paul debuted in a major WWE role at WrestleMania 37 and wrestled his first ‘Mania match at WrestleMania 38. By WrestleMania 39, he was competing in singles bouts, facing Seth Rollins. A multi-time champion, Paul has held the WWE United States Championship in 2023 and the WWE World Tag Team Championship before dropping the U.S. title to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024.
During his WWE tenure, Paul has faced elite names like John Cena and Cody Rhodes. Though he started as a part-time talent, he signed a full-time deal with WWE earlier this year.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Paul joined forces with Austin Theory to defend the WWE World Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits. The Profits were on the verge of victory until illegal interference tilted the match in The Vision’s favor.
With Paul sidelined, uncertainty loomed over the WWE World Tag Team Championships. Paul Heyman clarified to Theory that The Vision’s title contracts cover the entire faction, not just Paul and Theory as a duo.
He announced that Theory would now pair with Bron Breakker to keep defending the championships. Thrilled by the news, Theory hugged Heyman in gratitude. He also vowed to get payback for Paul, saying he would personally handle anyone responsible for the injury.
Later that night, Theory stormed the ring and cut off Joe Hendry mid-performance as he sang his “Fire Logan Paul” track. The 28-year-old unleashed a brutal chair assault, leaving Hendry motionless in the ring after driving him into the steel ring post.
