American Idol Season 24 Crowns Winner

American Idol Season 24 has finally crowned its winner in a closely contested finale. While all the contestants gave their best, only one could sweep the title of victory.

Who won American Idol Season 24?

Hannah Harper became the winner of American Idol Season 24. Harper, Jordan McCullough, and Keyla Richardson made it to the top 3 of the season. The grand finale conducted three rounds of performances.

In the first one, the finalists had to sing a song by Alicia Keys, who also served as a mentor. Harper performed the song “No One” and expressed gratitude to her husband for supporting her dreams.

Further, Richardson performed “Unthinkable.” She also changed the build of the tune to match her voice. Finally, McCullough sang “If I Ain’t Got You.” The second round was dedicated to hometowns. For their second routine, the top 3 had to come up with a song inspired by their respective hometowns.

Harper sang a song written by her titled “Married Into This Town. Judge Carrie Underwood praised Harper for auditioning and ending the season with original songs. Richardson sang a rendition of Whitney Hudson’s “I Love the Lord.”

Underwood loved the choice of the song while Luke Bryan acknowledged his growth since the beginning of the competition. McCullough closed the second round with “Dear God,” and Underwood joked that she wants a “three-way tie” for the end.

After the second round, an elimination took place with Richardson being shown the door. In the final round, the top 2 had to reprise their old performances. Harper sang a song for their audition titled, “String Cheese.” On the other hand, McCullough reprised “The Goodness of God.”

With the conclusion of three rounds, a winner had to be decided on the basis of votes. Soon, Harper was annouced as the winner of American Idol Season 24. Further, she closed the grand evening by performing the song, “At the Cross (Love Ran Red).”
