Even before the premiere of its fourth season in 2026, a popular Prime Video series has already secured its future.
Based on the books by Lee Child, the hit action series is set for a return later this year. While the fourth season is yet to receive a release date, the show has already been renewed for a fifth season.

Reacher, which premiered four years ago in February 2022, has remained a major success across multiple seasons. Featuring Alan Ritchson in the lead role, it has remained a popular series among Prime Video viewers for the past three seasons. Now that everyone is waiting for the fourth season to arrive soon, the streamer has decided to greenlight a fifth season too.
Explaining the reason behind Reacher’s renewal for another season, the streamer revealed, “The early renewal underscores the continued success and global appeal of the action-packed drama, which remains one of Prime Video’s most popular franchises.” The last season drew “54.6 million viewers globally on Prime Video in its first 19 days and stands as the most-watched season on the service.”
As for the fourth season, it will “continue the high-stakes storytelling that has made Reacher a standout global hit, with Alan Ritchson reprising his role as Jack Reacher. Additional details on the upcoming season will be announced at a later date.”
Season four’s official synopsis reads, “When a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power.”
Apart from Ritchson in the titular role, the next season will also see new cast members, including Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson.
