The upcoming TV season for reality show fans is going to be a major one, as Fox has just renewed over a dozen popular shows. The network announced its renewals for the upcoming 2026-2027 season, which include both long-running shows and new ones debuting later this year.
What Fox TV shows have been renewed?
Here is the full list of Fox shows that have been renewed for the upcoming season:
- The Masked Singer
- Kitchen Nightmares
- Hell’s Kitchen
- Celebrity Name That Tune
- Celebrity Weakest Link
- The Floor
- 99 to Beat
- Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test
- Next Level Baker
- Crime Scene Kitchen
- Don’t Forget The Lyrics
- Extracted
- Fear Factor: House of Fear
- Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service
- Lego Masters
- Next Level Chef
- Beat Shazam
As the list reveals, Fox continues to invest heavily in Gordon Ramsay-led programming, which accounts for over a third of the shows renewed. The celebrity chef is a cornerstone of Fox’s unscripted programming, producing 6 of the 17 shows, while also hosting most of them. Besides cooking shows, Fox’s renewal focuses on game shows, with most of them originating outside the U.S.
Hell’s Kitchen becomes Fox’s longest-running unscripted series, which has been ordered for a season 26 as well. Following it is MasterChef, which will return for its 16th season this year. New shows on the list include 99 to Beat, the Fear Factor reboot, Extracted, Next Level Baker, and more.
“We talk a lot about how to keep as much original [programming] on the schedule as possible,” said Michael Thorn, Fox Television Network president (via THR). “It allows us to have new and returning series throughout the year — midseason, spring and summer. It’s better to have something ready to go than to try and rush something through production.”
Fox has not only renewed unscripted content but also scripted shows like American Dad and Krapopolis earlier this year. As reported by THR, Fox had stockpiled more shows than it needed for the upcoming season before the Writers Guild and SAG-AFTRA made deals with studios in fear of another strike.
