Conflicting Avengers: Doomsday Report Says 1 Hero Dies Off-Screen

A new Avengers: Doomsday rumor suggests that Teyonah Parris‘ character Monia Rambeau might die off-screen. Rambeau was last seen in the 2023 movie, The Marvels. Although there are rumors of her return in Doomsday, neither Marvel nor the actress has issued an official confirmation.

Avengers: Doomsday rumor claims Monica Rambeau dies off-screen

Recently, a reliable scooper revealed that Teyonah Parris’ character, Monica Rambeau, might not appear in Avengers: Doomsday, as she dies off-screen.

While addressing a user’s query regarding the status of Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and the other Marvels in the upcoming movie, My Time to Shine Hello wrote on X, “One of them is in it (Kamala). Carol is MIA, and Monica dies off-screen. I really hope they change that tho.” However, this is just a rumor, and no details regarding Rambeau’s potential appearance have been revealed.

However, another rumor regarding Rambeau was previously reported by SuperHeroHype, which conflicts with the aforementioned one. Recently, scooper Alex Perez held a QnA in which he was asked by a fan why none of the Doomsday leaks contain anything about Rambeau. The fan inquired, “Is this because she hasn’t shot any scenes yet and her role is small, or because she isn’t going to be in the film?”

In his reply, Perez stated that Rambeau will appear and conveyed, “Monica is in the movie. Around the 2nd act, her plotline picks up. She’s the key to brokering peace between the X-Men and the Avengers.”

In January, The Marvels director Nia DiCosta spoke with Deadline, seemingly confirming Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Parris for Doomsday. She asserted, “I was just visiting the Avengers set last summer, which was really fun, catching up with the producers, seeing the Russos, and some of my friends were in the movie.”

A trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was recently released at the 2026 CinemaCon.
