Fans think The Watcher was in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 4
Marvel fans recently indulged in discussions on social media after they seemingly noticed The Watcher in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
This week’s Episode 4 of the ongoing Marvel series became a hot topic on X (previously Twitter), as fans spotted a silhouette resembling the Watcher at the end. However, whether it is a coincidence or an Easter Egg added by Marvel remains unconfirmed.
The clip, which is widely circulating on social media, occurs in the episode when Daredevil, AKA Matt Murdock (played by Charlie Cox), tries to take down a sharpshooter outside Fogwell’s Gym.
As fans watch Murdock exit the scene, the window shows The Watcher’s face, made up using the two fluorescent lights in the dark room. Renowned leaker My Time To Shine Hello subsequently shared the scene on X and wrote, “Wait is that…”
Another user lauded the placement and stated, “That’s exactly how I imagined The Watcher appearing in live action in the MCU. That’s brilliant.”
Meanwhile, a third user argued that the scene could be a deliberate attempt by Marvel and noted, “Anyone who says this isn’t the watcher is crazy. That pattern is too spot on for that to not be intentional.”
Additionally, a user named Trizzy reacted by posting the popular Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme.
Moreover, a fan suggested that Matt notice the Watcher’s presence and wrote, “Ok but fr if the Watcher actually does pop up in the background of this show, I would love for Matt to be distracted thinking he heard someone’s presence.”
Notably, The Watcher has yet to have a live-action appearance in the MCU. However, an animated version voiced by Jeffrey Wright has been featured in What If…? and I Am Groot.
