A new leak from X user @MyTimeToShineHello claims The Punisher kills Spider-Man in Brand New Day. The alleged leak states Peter Parker transforms into Man-Spider, forcing Frank Castle to kill him. The post has accumulated 29K views since posting on April 2, 2026, at the time of writing.

The Man-Spider transformation theory aligns with existing trailer speculation. Multiple outlets, including Polygon, suggested the mutation storyline may adapt “The Six Arms Saga” from The Amazing Spider-Man #100-102. Some commentators also pointed to “The Other” crossover storyline from 2005-06 as another possible source.

The March 18, 2026, trailer confirmed Parker’s powers are mutating. The trailer revealed organic web shooters and black eyes as new developments for Holland’s Spider-Man. Sony stated the trailer accumulated 718.6 million views within 24 hours of release.

Tom Holland described the Parker-Castle dynamic to GamesRadar in March 2026. “The relationship between Spider-Man and the Punisher is so funny,” Holland said. He added their characters go from hating each other to developing “a big brother/little brother rivalry.”
