Veteran comedian Graham Norton has clarified his claims about an “NDA” involving Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s anticipated wedding. He asserted that the claim was a joke. At the same time, he expressed he did not imagine it would be taken seriously by a section of fans. The comedian also spoke about his role in Taylor Swift’s music video for Opalite.
Graham Norton talks about Taylor Swift wedding claims
In a report by The Independent, Graham Norton addressed the speculation about his invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding during a recent podcast appearance. The comedian clarified that whatever he said earlier was a joke. In addition, he stated that he remains entirely in the dark about the event. This comes after Norton made a remark about signing an NDA.
Following his appearance in Taylor Swift’s anticipated music video for “Opalite,” Norton spoke about the earlier claims and his music video appearance at Advertising Week Europe with his podcast co-host, Maria McErlane.
Clarifying the NDA situation, Norton claimed, “I don’t know, no (I have not signed a non-disclosure agreement).” He added, “I said that as a joke on the podcast, I said, ‘oh I’ve signed all these NDAs’, and then it started getting reported as a serious thing in America. I didn’t say cut that out because I thought it was so obviously a joke.”
Reflecting on starring in a music video, Norton said, “I said to Taylor at the time, often in your 60s you begin to give up on your dream of appearing in a major pop video, but it happened, and thank you very much, Taylor Swift.”
He also took this opportunity to reflect on the long career he has had in front of the screen. “When I look back and I think of some of the things I did when we started, I’d be running around the audience with a microphone getting people to tell me their sex stories, confessing about sex toys and things. I was 30-something then, now I’m 60-something, if I was doing that, it would just be creepy,” Norton said.
So, it seems that everything about Kelce and Swift’s anticipated wedding remains under wraps for now.
