Taco Bell Fans Can Now Wear the Baja Blast Drink on Their Skin

If you are a fan of Taco Bell, you are in for a surprise, as the fast food chain is now dipping its toes in the skincare market with a Baja Blast-inspired product. This is not the first time a fast food brand has experimented with a skincare product. In the last few years, Chipotle, Cheetos, and 7‑Eleven have also launched cosmetics or collaborated with a makeup brand.

Taco Bell is turning the Baja Blast drink into a skincare product

During their “Live Más LIVE: A Night at the Palladium” showcase in Hollywood on March 10, Taco Bell announced the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Under Eye Patches as part of their 2026 slate. Vince Staples hosted the event. Meanwhile, the guest list included Benson Boone, Ciara Miller, Finneas, DJ Pee .Wee (aka Anderson .Paak), Doja Cat, Fernando Mendoza, Jason Sudeikis, and Demi Lovato.

The press release stated, “For the Baja Blast die-hard, infused with caffeine and a refreshing boost of citrus, these patches energize skin and deliver cooling hydration.” It was a clear nod to their iconic drink. Additional details, such as the launch date or the full ingredient list, are still in wraps.

In addition to this product, the fast-food chain unveiled more than 20 upcoming menu items. Two other Mountain Dew Baja-inspired products were also announced. The first was the Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Pie. Per the press release, “the brand is bringing the passionfruit flavors of Mountain Dew Baja Midnight™ to a pie offering a sweet, citrusy flavor reminiscent of key lime pie or sorbet.”

The second one was the Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Zero. This drink will be a blend of passionfruit flavor and the iconic tropical lime taste of the original Midnight Zero, but without sugar. Taco Bell announced three other beverages: Strawberry Horchata Refresca, Cold Brew with Purple Horchata Cold Foam, and Salt & Straw Tacolate Chiller.
