King Charles’ Luxury Tea Hamper Reportedly Comes at a Hefty Price

King Charles’ latest tea hamper, which is worth a hefty price, has caught everyone’s attention. In January, the luxury set was launched, inspired by The King’s Rose under the Highgrove brand. While the tea products individually were slightly costly, the entire hamper seemed to set the bar too high. According to the website, the package costs approximately $1,200.

King Charles’ $1200 tea hamper boasts fine bone china and other quintessentials

King Charles’ luxury tea hamper is said to be one of the most expensive sets on Highgrove. The price of one package is approximately $1,200 (£925.45). According to the description mentioned on the online shop, the special basket was designed not only for those who enjoy English tea. It was also for the people who “appreciate craftsmanship and heritage.”

“Each piece of fine bone china is inspired by The King’s Rose™, a special variety created by David Austin Roses in support of The King’s Foundation,” it read. Furthermore, the description mentioned that Austin had created the “distinctive English Shrub rose” to honor the king.

According to him, the flower reflected the monarch’s “lifelong commitment to nature, sustainability, and heritage.” Hence, the designs on the bone china items have fuchsia-and-white striped petals all over.

Meanwhile, there should be around nine products in the luxury Highrgove-branded basket. The tea crockery set included a pair of saucers and cups, a teapot, a creamer, a loose tea tin, a sugar bowl, and a dessert plate. Aside from these, a shortbread and a jar of strawberry preserve were added to the hamper.

“For the ultimate tea time experience, the hamper also includes our organic original shortbread, perfect for dunking, a jar of our Marc de Champagne Strawberry Preserve, and a tin of organic Prince of Wales loose leaf tea to add a royal touch,” the overview further stated.
