Zach Braff has recently debunked rumors about him dating an AI chatbot after the internet speculated that he is the mystery actor mentioned in a recent podcast. The main trio of the I Need You Guys podcast, along with Kumail Nanjiani, discussed a bizarre blind item about a certain actor without taking names.
Silvestri began, “I’m not going to put a name to it,” as Slate and Nanjiani playfully complained. Eventually, Silvestri agreed to tell his wild gossip without mentioning names and letting fans decide for themselves. He stated, “There is a well-known actor who is currently in a romantic relationship with his AI chatbot.” The others looked shocked as Silvestri continued, “Yeah, and brings the chatbot with him places.”
Nanjiani tried to dig more into the mystery actor’s identity. However, Silvestri refused to budge and simply answered, “as near A-list as TV can get you.” The specific clip spread like wildfire on TikTok, with fans speculating it is the “Cheaper by the Dozen” star.
Braff, however, categorically denied this by sharing multiple comments on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, “I’m not dating a chatbot. I can’t believe I have to type these words. It is a storyline in an upcoming episode of Scrubs. Maybe it came from that? Not sure. But not me. Love, the guy not dating his chatbot. Please update all gossip sites.”
The “Scrubs” star further shared a screenshot of Jenny Slate and wrote, “Also, I had no idea until tonight (because I’m not on TikTok) that these folks were the origin of this?”
In a third Instagram Story, he wrote over a screenshot of Kumail Nanjiani, “I feel like now is a good time to be kind to people.”
