Nancy Guthrie Abductor Predicted To ‘Strike Again’ by Ex-FBI Agent

As the Nancy Guthrie suspected kidnapping case continues, the latest updates include authorities trying to figure out the abductor’s next move. At first, the focus was to find the 84-year-old after she disappeared from her house on February 1, but now, a former FBI agent says the public also needs to be careful about a second concern: whoever took her may still walk free, and that person could target someone else.

Ex-FBI agent claims Nancy Guthrie’s abductor could be plotting next target

While the country waits for updates in the Nancy Guthrie case, Jennifer Coffindaffer, a former FBI agent, published a post on X (formerly Twitter) that raised alarming concerns about Guthrie’s abductor. She spoke about what she sees as a major blind spot in the public conversation, highlighting the possible ongoing danger to the community.

In her post, Coffindaffer wrote, “There is a kidnapper (at least 1) and a potential murderer (maybe more) on the streets,” asking, “Who will be their next target?” She added, “Yes, this seems to be very targeted abduction (like the Idaho murders).” However, she emphasized the obvious danger, saying, “You still have an individual(s) capable of extreme violence on the loose.”

Additionally, Coffindaffer stressed that the case should not end with a search effort alone. She said, “Finding Nancy alive was objective 1. Objective 2 was getting an abductor (and likely murderer) off the streets,” adding, “Will this person(s) strike again? This is a big issue.”

However, the former agent clarified she did not want to scare people. At the same time, she argued that the public deserves more guidance as the case continues and urged law enforcement to hold a brief press conference and share any details that could help the public spot any leads that might matter.

Put together, Coffindaffer’s warning is that until investigators identify the person responsible in this case, the risk does not disappear with Nancy Guthrie’s abductor potentially on the loose.
