Taylor Swift’s Easter Eggs Have Left a Mark on Travis Kelce — Here’s How

It seems Travis Kelce has been learning a thing or two about Easter Eggs from fiancée Taylor Swift. Back in January, when the NFL star accidentally revealed his plans to return to the Chiefs on his podcast, his fans were left surprised and confused about the hint. However, in another podcast, he revealed that he took a cue from the pop star about “placing those things all over,” like Easter eggs, till everyone catches on.

Taylor Swift is well known for embedding Easter eggs in her music videos, outfits, social media posts, stage designs, tour visuals, song lyrics, and so on, for her fans to decipher the code and learn about her plans. And it seems Swift’s fiancé has also learnt about the art of hiding clues from her.

Travis Kelce appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday to discuss his future game plans. However, when the host told the football tight end that he was confused by Kelce’s comments on his “New Heights” podcast about how he couldn’t wait to see Chiefs coach Eric Bieniemy “back in the building,” the footballer talked about his fiancée and her influence.

“Yeah, the thing is, once I started dating Taylor, I started understanding what Easter eggs were, and you start kind of just placing those things all over the planet, and everybody starts to catch on,” Kelce laughed. He also admitted, “that was a slip-up. I didn’t even realize I said that.” However, McAfee confessed, “Ok, that was a good Easter egg though.”

During the podcast, the 36-year-old even revealed that Swift’s “love and joy” for her music played a major role in his decision to stay with the Kansas City Chiefs for another season rather than retire.

“Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done either. I still got some ideas in the back of my mind. I still got some juice left to play this game,'” the Chiefs TE added.
