Donald Trump’s Neck Rash Once Again Spotted at Doral

The mystery rash on President Donald Trump‘s neck was spotted again at Doral on March 9, one week after it first sparked speculation about the 79-year-old’s health.

As Donald Trump talked to journalists at his golf club at Doral, observers noticed the neck rash behind his right ear. The spot first got attention last week during a White House Medal of Honor ceremony. The irritated skin appears to be mending since its debut. What initially looked like heavy scabbing seven days ago seems to have diminished, though the reddish area remains noticeable.

The White House responded to inquiries by The Daily Beast with a statement from Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician. “President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment, prescribed by the White House Doctor,” the statement read. “The President is using this treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks.”

Officials haven’t explained what condition the cream aims to prevent, leaving Donald Trump’s neck rash unexplained. The mark was first noticed on March 2, but Trump seemingly wore makeup over it the following day during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. It resurfaced Thursday at a White House event honoring Inter Miami’s soccer championship.

The vague medical explanations have led to late-night television chatter, with Jimmy Kimmel dedicating a recent monologue to dissecting the situation. During his recent show, Kimmel questioned the official narrative. “If it’s so common, why don’t you tell us what cream it is so we can not put it on our necks?” he asked, echoing public frustration with the lack of transparency.

It seems the White House continues to push back against speculation while offering no additional details.
