New Netflix Erotic Thriller Series Is Dominating Streaming Wars

Netflix’s latest drama series is quickly gaining traction on the platform’s global charts. The newly released show has entered the streamer’s rankings just days after its debut, drawing attention in multiple markets. Early data indicate the series is already performing strongly against other popular titles on the service.

Vladimir enters strong in Netflix streaming wars

The Netflix limited series Vladimir has entered the platform’s streaming rankings shortly after its release. According to FlixPatrol data for March 9, 2026, Vladimir ranked No. 4 on Netflix’s Top 10 TV Shows chart in the United States. The series also ranked No. 3 on the worldwide Netflix TV shows chart the same day.

The global chart placed The Dinosaurs at No. 1 and Bridgerton at No. 2, followed by Vladimir in third place. In the United States chart, Vladimir trailed The Dinosaurs, The TikTok Killer, and Bridgerton. Vladimir is a comedy-drama series created by Julia May Jonas and adapted from her eponymous novel. The series stars Rachel Weisz and Leo Woodall, alongside Jessica Henwick, Ellen Robertson, and John Slattery. Netflix released the eight-episode limited series on March 5, 2026.

According to the official description, the series centers on an English professor who becomes fixated on a new colleague.
