Kesha Slams Donald Trump & White House for Using Her Song to ‘Threaten War’

Fan-favorite pop star Kesha has lambasted Donald Trump and the White House for using one of her songs in a social media post, which appeared to glorify the country’s use of fighter jets. The two-time Grammy Award nominee condemned the government for leveraging her hymn “to incite violence and threaten war” without her permission.

On March 2, the 39-year-old singer took to social media to reprimand the current US President, as well as the White House, sharing a detailed account of why the unauthorized use of her 2011 song “Blow” in a promotional post breached her values.

“It’s come to my attention that the White House has used one of my songs on TikTok to incite violence and threaten war,” Kesha wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Trying to make light of war is disgusting and inhumane. I absolutely do NOT approve of my music being used to promote violence of any kind.”

The “TiK ToK” singer added, “Love always trumps hate. Please love yourself and each other in times like this. This show of blatant disregard for human life and quite frankly this attack on all of our nervous systems is the opposite of what I stand for.”

Kesha ended her rant by shifting focus towards Donald Trump’s alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein case, noting, “Also, don’t let this distract us from the fact that criminal predator Donald Trump appears in the files over a million times.”

The post shared by the White House’s official TikTok account, which Kesha has slammed, highlights US fighter jets in action with her song “Blow” playing in the background. The clip showcased multiple angles of the military airplanes, including the supposed destruction of a rival navy vessel via a missile strike. The post also included the caption, “Lethality.”

Notably, Kesha’s outrage comes just days after Donald Trump’s administration ordered strikes on Iran, killing several officials. The California-born musician shared yet another X post to express her displeasure, writing, “Stop using my music, perverts @WhiteHouse.”

Meanwhile, Kesha is the latest among several musicians to have condemned the White House’s usage of their work.
