Ex-Prince Andrew Suspects Being ‘Set Up’ by Brother With Arrest Photo — Source

When former Prince Andrew was released under investigation after being interrogated for 11 hours at the Aylsham police station in Norfolk, photographers lined up to catch a glimpse of him. And his one particular photo became talk of the town, which the former Prince believes is no coincidence. According to a source, the ex-Prince Andrew thinks King Charles “sacrificed him” to protect the monarchy as he is well aware of “how the press game works.”

Ex-Prince Andrew ‘believes King Charles knows how the press game works,’ per source

Former Prince Andrew’s arrest on February 19 grabbed a lot of attention. But it was one photo of him taken while leaving the Aylsham police station that hogged the limelight. The photo, captured by Reuters photographer Phil Noble, showed the former Duke of York reclining in a Range Rover. The ex-prince looked visibly shaken and terrified after being interrogated for 11 hours at the station.

And now, as per Rob Shuter‘s substack, the former prince is privately seething over the image. He reportedly believes that someone from the royal household tipped off the photographers. The person knew exactly how the photo was going to look.

Although the palace insiders have denied such a move, Andrew still “thinks this was no accident.” Moreover, he “believes the King understands exactly how the press game works — and how powerful one image can be.”

The source further added that Andrew felt the whole thing with the photographers was “a setup.” “He’s convinced someone high up knew he’d be there and made sure the press did too,” added the tipster.

And that “someone,” Andrew suspects, is his brother and monarch, King Charles III. “He thinks Charles sacrificed him to protect the institution,” claimed a source. They added, “In Andrew’s view, the monarchy needed a reckoning moment — and he was it” as his picture could change “everything.”

Soon after his release, the infamous photo of his arrest was put on display in the Paris museum, the Louvre, by activists with the caption, “He’s Sweating Now – 2026,” as they wanted to send a message to the former prince.
