Jelly Roll has revealed how he broke his collarbone earlier this year. In a recent social media post, the Grammy-winning rapper and singer got candid about the injury, explaining how the accident occurred.

Jelly Roll talks about collarbone injury

Jelly Roll recently opened up about a major injury that he suffered in January. The “Need a Favor” hitmaker posted an Instagram video on March 1, detailing how he broke his collarbone while riding his ATV. He captioned the post as, “I’ve been keeping a secret from y’all…”

“Y’all just took this thing out for the first time since I flipped it,” Jelly Roll shared, showing his ATV parked in the background. “I broke my collarbone. I was so scared to get back on this thing. I just knew if I didn’t get back on it sooner than later, I was just going to be more and more afraid of it,” the singer added. Jelly Roll went on to share that his brother had the vehicle fixed, admitting, “I figured I had totaled it.”

The “Son of a Sinner” singer revealed that he attended the 2026 Grammy Awards with the injury. “I was just thinking, I was out there running all over the Grammys with a broken collarbone,” the star recalled. “Every time I hugged somebody that week, I wanted to scream. I just didn’t say it, but every time somebody squeezed me, dude, I thought I was gonna cry,” he revealed.

The star concluded the video on a positive note, stating, “Sometimes the machine can do more than the user thinks it can. This was all user error. Anyways, moral of the story, get back on that pony, baby.”

Jelly Roll won three categories at the 68th Grammy Awards: Best Contemporary Country Album, Best Country Duo/Group Performance in collaboration with Shaboozey, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
