Megyn Kelly Says Authorities Are ‘Nowhere’ in Nancy Guthrie Investigation

This week, Megyn Kelly added her assessment of where Nancy Guthrie’s suspected kidnapping case stands, noting that the investigation has not produced a clear break and that key leads have gone nowhere. Kelly discussed the case on Sky News Australia with host Paul Murray.

The journalist reacted to Savannah Guthrie’s latest Instagram video update about her missing mother and pointed to a new and frightening detail about the night the 84-year-old disappeared.

‘Taken from her bed’: Megyn Kelly reveals chilling new detail emerging about Nancy Guthrie

Talking about Nancy Guthrie’s potential kidnapping, Megyn Kelly said, “I thought there were a couple of interesting things in Savannah’s latest message.” She continued, “Number one, she revealed for the first time that her mother was taken, quote, ‘from her bed,’ which we hadn’t heard before.”

Kelly told Murray that the detail changed how she viewed the alleged abduction, since earlier speculation focused on whether someone lured Nancy to the door. As such, she suggested, “This altercation began while this poor 84-year-old was asleep in her bed.”

Moreover, Kelly pointed to the family’s decision to offer a reward, and she credited it to a lack of progress, highlighting, “She offered a million-dollar reward,” before adding, “It seems none of the leads have panned out, according to law enforcement. They got nothing.”

The media personality then listed investigative steps she said failed to produce results, from images of the suspect at the home to forensic leads, while also claiming other reported items and canvassing efforts “didn’t go anywhere.” Hence, Kelly argued that the reward now serves the purpose to pressure someone — possibly even the abductor — to talk.

She said, “I’ll give you a million dollars if you come forward and tell me who did this, or if you manage to produce my mother, dead or alive,” describing what she believes Savannah Guthrie communicated in her appeal.

All in all, Megyn Kelly’s interpretation of Savannah Guthrie’s message reflected how the family is running out of patience and investigators running out of usable leads in Nancy Guthrie’s suspected kidnapping.
