In newly filed court documents, Kris Jenner reportedly accused Ray J of “publicly terrorizing” her daughter, Kim Kardashian, for nearly two decades. According to TMZ, Jenner submitted a declaration as part of her defamation lawsuit against the singer, claiming his recent statements crossed a line.
The 70-year-old allegedly stated that she decided to pursue legal action after Ray J made what she described as “outrageous and untrue” claims that she and Kardashian were under federal investigation. In her filing, Jenner reportedly denied ever being accused or charged with a crime and called the comparison to allegations involving Sean “Diddy” Combs “a horrific lie.”
The declaration also allegedly addresses comments Ray J made during a livestream and in a documentary appearance, where he suggested that potential “racketeering charges against the Kardashians would be appropriate.” Jenner reportedly characterized those remarks as false and harmful, claiming they triggered a “wave of attention” and caused “significant emotional distress” for her daughter.
“My family is of the utmost importance to me,” the media personality reportedly wrote. “It is deeply painful to watch my daughter experience the stress brought upon her by [Ray J]…” Jenner also claimed she felt “deeply angered, insulted, and shaken” by the accusations and worried they could negatively affect the business empire Kardashian has built over the years.
The businesswoman further noted, according to reports, that she has never before sued anyone for defamation. However, she felt compelled to act this time because Ray J’s statements were “inexcusable and deeply painful.” Jenner claimed she could no longer stand by while her daughter endured what she described as a “campaign of harassment.”
Furthermore, Kim Kardashian has also reportedly filed her own declaration, expressing concern that the allegations could jeopardize her aspirations to become a lawyer. She shared that the situation has led to “tough conversations” with her four children.
