When Hudson mentioned earning “cool points” from her own children, Garner quipped, “You’re providing my cool points today!” The actress joked that her kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, think she’s “fully cringe.”

“I am only embarrassing,” Garner said, adding, “I asked my kids if they were going to watch this season of the show [season 2], and they were like, ‘Do you need us to?’ But I mean, kids don’t want to see their parents in … right? They don’t want to see us cry, or see us have a romantic scene, anything. We’re just embarrassing.”

“But you and all of you and Angourie give me cool points,” Garner said, giving a shoutout to her The Last Thing He Told Me costar Angourie Rice.

The actress also shared that her son Samuel is “really into Game of Thrones right now.” Thus, she thanked her costar Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who famously portrayed Jaime Lannister in the HBO fantasy epic.

Jennifer Garner welcomed her eldest daughter with Ben Affleck, Violet Anne, in December 2005. She was followed by Seraphina Rose, who was born in January 2009. Three years later, the actress gave birth to her youngest son, Samuel, in February 2012.

The Elektra star has previously gushed about her kids in an interview with Marie Claire UK. “They’re just so cool!” Garner said, adding that she is “so proud of how they walk through the world, and proud of them for trying hard.”
