In recent months, Nicki Minaj has been vocal about her support for Donald Trump. During his White House Black History Month reception speech, Donald Trump appreciated many Black athletes and celebrities. His newest Black celebrity supporter, Nicki Minaj, was also one of them. He said, “How about Nicki Minaj? Do we love Nicki Minaj? I love Nicki Minaj. She was here a couple weeks ago. She’s so beautiful. I said, ‘Nicki, you’re so beautiful.’”

Trump further shared how Minaj didn’t want to talk about her long nails, saying, “Her nails are like that long, I said, ‘Nicki are they real?’ She didn’t want to get into that. But she was so beautiful and so great and she gets it, more importantly.”

The “Young Money” rapper left netizens shocked when she first appeared alongside Donald Trump at the Trump Accounts Summit. On February 16, she shared an AI-generated photo on her social media in honor of Presidents’ Day. The picture appeared to portray her and Trump in a convertible while they were counting money.

Two days later, Minaj appeared at the Trump-backed World Liberty Forum Event. She was a keynote speaker for the “Owning the Culture: The Business of Music in a Creator-Led Economy” panel.

When the Queens icon first met Trump in January, she clarified that her support for him is unwavering (via BBC). She said, “I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan. And that’s not going to change. What people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more.”
