Route to Ex-Prince Andrew’s New Home Is Reportedly Tricky

Former Prince Andrew’s new home is reportedly dealing with some serious issues. The ex-Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles following controversies. Additionally, he was reportedly asked to leave his Royal Lodge in Windsor. Currently, he is staying in Wood Farm before renovations at his permanent abode in Marsh Farm are completed. Now, pictures from Andrew’s new home show that it will need more work than expected.

Ex-Prince Andrew’s new home, Marsh Farm, reportedly faces pothole mayhem

New photos allegedly reveal that former Prince Andrew’s new home in Marsh Farm is filled with potholes. The driveway to the location has potholes filled with muddy rainwater. Moreover, Marsh Farm is reportedly flood-prone. As such, residents have been advised to register for flood alerts when local measures don’t work out. A flood risk assessment from 2025 for Wolferton Barns, located just meters from Marsh Farm, said, “The Environment Agency operates a flood warning system to enable householders to protect life or act to manage the effect of flooding on property.”

They further added, “Failure of Wolferton Pumping Station may occur due to long-term mechanical breakdown or power supply being disrupted.” The assessment also stated, “If conditions put properties and land at risk of flooding, emergency action would be taken using temporary pumping equipment.” Moreover, Andrew’s decision to shift in the area has allegedly left a bitter taste among the local residents (via GB News).

One person said, “I’m a little bit flabbergasted myself.” The local further added, “If he’s an outcast and living on the estate, he’s not an outcast, is he?” Another one said, “Really, he’s going back to luxury, isn’t he? He’s being waited on hand and foot.” A third resident shared, “The press are all down there. The villagers don’t like that. It’s a quiet village.” Additionally, locals have said that the house is “too close to the road.” Thus, a home “out in the woods that’s surrounded by trees and no other houses… would have been better.” One more local noted, “It feels like we’re being punished for someone else’s scandal. Once he moves in, there’ll be cameras, journalists, gawkers – all the things this village has never had to deal with.”
