Sophie Rain talks about viral glass dance
A video of OnlyFans stars Sophie Rain and Aisha Sofey dancing on a transparent floor suspended above a pool has gone viral over the past few days. Now, the duo has shed light on the story behind this stunt and how it was more than mere aesthetics.
Speaking about this dance to The Blast, Rain explained, “Aishah had every reason to quit, but she doubled down.”
She continued about her co-star in the viral reel, “I watched her turn rejection into motivation. That energy pushed me too. When we filmed that water dance, we wanted it to feel bold and fearless, like we were standing above everything that tried to hold us down. Together, we knew we had the chance to build something bigger than ourselves.”
For Rain, the glass was a metaphor for perseverance. There was risk, but also faith in the process. “That floor felt like a metaphor for her journey,” Rain continued, “You are standing on something transparent. You see all that water, and it looks risky, but it holds. That is Aishah. People doubted her, judged her, tried to scare her out of this industry. She kept going, and now the same people scroll past this video and see the life she built.”
Aisha Sofey also had her take on the dance. “You see two girls in bright dresses, you see the glass, you see the water under our feet, and for a second, it looks impossible. That is how my life feels most days,” Sofey said. She underlined her rise over the past years in the process.
Sofey also explained how the video was carefully curated to give off the exact vibe that it did. “We tested where the light hit the pool, how our shadows moved, where the camera should sit,” she said, “I wanted people to see the reflections and think, wait, are they about to fall in. There is a little tension, and then you see us laugh and keep dancing. It is a fun reminder that our work might look simple, but there is a real plan behind every clip.”
So, it is clear that the video and its virality are no accident. There was a lot of thought that went into making it.
Rain further concluded with a note about their collaboration, “When two creators come together with the same drive, it is unstoppable.”
