Jennifer Garner has revealed she wants to throw down — on screen — with longtime friend and former costar Judy Greer. Ben Affleck’s ex-wife shared the surprising wish while promoting the second season of her Apple TV+ thriller The Last Thing He Told Me.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Garner made it clear she has a very specific request for future episodes, a.k.a a fight scene with Judy Greer. “I would like to have a fight with Judy Greer, but a physical fight,” Garner quipped, adding, “I would like to wipe the floor with her.”
Sitting beside her during the interview, her onscreen husband Nikolaj Coster-Waldau chimed in, saying, “Yes! She mentioned that in the other room, and she was like, she’s scared of you.” Garner responded, “I know, I like that. We’ve been friends a long time. I would like to fight her.”
The actresses reunite in Season 2 of The Last Thing He Told Me, the Apple TV+ thriller based on the novel by Laura Dave, and its sequel, The First Time I Saw Him. Garner reprises her role as Hannah, while Greer joins the series as Quinn, the eldest daughter of the Campano crime family.
The new season follows Owen (Coster-Waldau), who reappears after five years on the run, as Hannah and his daughter Bailey (played by Angourie Rice) race to reunite their family before the past catches up to them. Given the tension between Hannah and Quinn in the story, Garner’s playful request for a physical fight could fit naturally into the narrative.
There is, however, one hurdle. “She’s like, I would call my stunt double right away. I wouldn’t even let you do it once,” Garner said of Greer, before adding, “Aww, no, she’d be okay. I wouldn’t have hurt her.” Despite the joking about swords and horseback battles, “It was a real joy,” she said of working with Greer again.
The upcoming season of The Last Thing He Told Me premieres globally on February 20.
