Donald Trump‘s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, recently came under fire from Jimmy Kimmel. The latter humorously addressed the former’s recent testimony before the House of Representatives on the Department of Justice’s handling of the release of Epstein files.
During the testimony, Bondi faced a series of questions from Republican and Democratic members of the committee. At the hearing, the politician drew attention and widespread criticism for her strong defense of the President, among other things.
Jimmy Kimmel calls out AG Pam Bondi over recent Epstein files hearing
In his latest monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host kicked off his critique of Donald Trump‘s attorney general, Pam Bondi‘s actions and responses during the recent Epstein files hearing by stating that it was her “turn in the hot seat.”
Kimmel subsequently took a jab at Bondi’s personality and attitude. He suggested that she was the “kind of woman” who would prompt neighbors to relocate. “You wouldn’t even argue with her, you just relocate and never go back to the block,” he continued.
Kimmel then mocked Bondi’s defense of Trump at the hearing and her claims that he was the most “transparent” president after playing a clip of the same. He joked that Trump was “so transparent” his name was blacked out “a thousand times.” He further joked that Bondi was offended by the questions posed to her; she forgot the branch of government she served.
The comedian later played a clip of Bondi accusing North Carolina congresswoman Deborah Ross of being fixated on her. In the video, Ross clapped back at Bondi by highlighting the obvious purpose of the hearing.
Kimmel mocked Bondi, saying, “That’s the whole point.” He continued, “Did she think she was invited to a mixer? I don’t know, it’s like speaking to a teenage girl.” He further stated, “That went on for, like, five hours. She’s shouting like a crazed Dance Mom, berating Democrats for giving her chubby daughter a low score.”
