Martha Stewart says Heated Rivalry ‘doesn’t turn me on’
Stewart recently appeared on the Up & Adams Show, where she revealed that she is not a fan of Heated Rivalry, a sports romance drama set in the hockey world. She admitted that she “tried” to follow the series but couldn’t. Citing her reason for the show not being her preference, she added, “It doesn’t turn me on. That’s not my stuff.”
Stewart mentioned that she prefers watching MobLand over Heated Rivalry as it’s the type of show she loves. She praised executive producer and director Guy Ritchie and said MobLand is “the best thing on TV in 2025.” Giving a shout out to the cast members, she further said, “Pierce Brosnan? And Helen Mirren? Oh and Tom Hardy, he’s my man!”
Created by Ronan Bennett, the crime drama series centers around two mob families, the Harrigans and Stevensons. With their rivalry having the potential to put both families at risk, the Harrigan family summons a street-smart fixer, Harry Da Souza, to deal with the challenges that threaten their business. While working for the family, he tries his best to avoid any sort of war between the two rivals.
MobLand Season 1 premiered in March 2025 and featured 10 episodes. After its conclusion in June 2025, it was renewed for another outing in the same month. Apart from Hardy, the cast includes Brosnan, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, and Helen Mirren, among many others.
