Miranda Kerr Details ‘Forgiving’ Orlando Bloom Amid Divorce

Miranda Kerr has spoken publicly about her divorce from her former husband, Orlando Bloom. The ex-couple were married for three years before separating in 2013. But rather than parting on a bitter note, the exes decide to maintain a “harmonious” relationship between them for their son, Flynn.

Miranda Kerr has never been open about her relationship with her former husband, Orlando Bloom, after their divorce in 2013. However, the model has now shared her thoughts on a podcast, “We Need to Talk.”

On the February 3 episode of the podcast, the KORA Organics founder revealed the reason behind their breakup, admitting that their relationship was “not bringing out the best in each other.”

However, instead of having any resentment towards each other, they decided “not make it about” themselves, and agreed to “put the needs of Flynn first.” Hence, they forgave and made “peace” with each other because it “weighs on you.”

The 42-year-old even said that, “When you have a child with someone else, they’re always going to be that person’s parent for the rest of their life, and there are going to be situations when you’re going to need to talk if you like it or not.”

“So why not make it harmonious? Why not make it more peaceful?,” she noted.

The former couple began dating in 2007 and married in 2010. However, by 2013, Kerr and Bloom parted ways and finalised their divorce. However, their friendship lasted, and they agreed to co-parent their son in the best way possible.

She is now married to Evan Spiegel, and the couple shares three children, Hart, Myles, and Pierre.
