Singer Gracie Abrams, daughter of director J.J. Abrams, celebrated her boyfriend, Paul Mescal’s, 30th birthday with a heartwarming photo carousel. In the same social media post, she also celebrated her friend, who appears to share the same birth date.
Gracie Abrams shares sweet photos on Paul Mescal’s 30th birthday
On February 2, the “Close to You” singer posted a series of candid photos, celebrating her boyfriend, Paul Mescal, and her friend, whom she called Clemmy’s birthday.
Sharing the snaps on Instagram, Gracie Abrams captioned them with a sweet message. She wrote, “P. Clemmy. My whole heart!!!!!!!!! I love February 2… Happy birthday. I love you both more than words could ever describe. Thank you for making everything better.”
The photo carousel consisted of some intimate photos of the singer and actor sharing a kiss in a photobooth, cozying up to each other during a dinner party, another photo of them sharing a kiss on what seems to be a soundstage, a snap from one of the dates, and the two twinning in Boston Red Sox caps, seemingly at one of the team’s matches.
This is not the first time that Abrams has shared a photo with the Normal People star. On September 7, she uploaded a series of snaps on Instagram, with Mescal in one of them.
The couple has largely kept their relationship private. But according to Elle, they started dating sometime in mid-2024.
Much before Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal got together, he said that he likes to keep his dating life “private” during an interview with Vanity Fair in 2023. “When Normal People came out, I was very forthright in interviews, and it didn’t actually serve me,” the Gladiator II star explained.
Mescal then said that despite the continued urge to share the good things about his life or clarify any wrong news, he has decided to enjoy his life outside of the media spotlight. Talking about his romantic life, the 30-year-old said, “Moving forward as much as I can, that’s going to be my life that is private.”
On the work front, Mescal will portray Paul McCartney in Sam Mendes’ four-film biopic about The Beatles. It is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2028.
