Donald Trump shares post about poll numbers

President Donald Trump, who has faced international scrutiny over the past few months, shared a post on Truth Social celebrating his “poll numbers.” In the post, Trump did not mention which poll he was referring to. It could be the McLaughlin Poll, which gave Donald Trump a positive review of his strategies and policies.

Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The highest Poll Numbers I have ever received. Obviously, people like a strong and powerful Country, with the best economy, EVER!”

This comes shortly after the McLaughlin Poll, indicating that the President was referring to the results there. The poll shows Donald Trump’s approval rating at a steady 50%, including 36% who approve of both his persona and his policies, and another 14% who approve of his policies.

The McLaughlin Poll also notes that among Trump 2024 voters, his approval stands at 89% to 9%. Among Republicans, it is 88% to 11%. Among conservatives, his approval stands at 85%, while only 14% disapprove.

McLaughlin & Associates, which conducted the poll, is a Republican polling and strategic consulting firm led by brothers John and Jim McLaughlin. They have been Donald Trump’s primary pollsters, having worked on all three of his presidential campaigns.

However, despite the poll results, a large portion of the country appears to be dissatisfied with the latest developments, especially those involving ICE. Several prominent artists expressed their views about ICE during the Grammys this past weekend. Other celebrities and public figures also continue to protest.
