Bella Hadid’s ex-boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, recently had a run-in with the law. The professional cowboy was arrested for public intoxication, amid his reported breakup with the supermodel.
Adan Banuelos arrested for public intoxication, report claims
According to reports, Adan Banuelos was arrested in Texas early morning on January 31 on charges of public intoxication. The award-winning cowboy and horse trainer was booked at the Parker County Jail in Weatherford, from where he was later released after posting a bond fee of $386 (via TMZ).
Banuelos has not made any public statement to address the incident. It also remains unclear whether he has retained legal counsel to make a comment.
A notable figure in the equestrian world, Banuelos won at the American Performance Horseman on March 8, 2024, as one of his many achievements. He has won several notable titles over the years, including the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Open Rider of the Year and the NCHA Open Futurity Champion honor. Furthermore, he is the son of Ascencion Banuelos, the first Mexican-American to have been inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame.
The arrest comes shortly after reports of his recent split from Bella Hadid. Earlier this week, sources claimed that the pair had reportedly called it quits following a tumultuous two-year relationship.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the time, an insider close to Hadid shared, “Bella is doing her best to stay positive and distract herself since their split.” They added, “She’s been staying busy with work and spending time with close friends. She is still processing the breakup since it was a very serious relationship.”
Additionally, Hadid and Banuelos had business collaborations. The pair had reportedly purchased million-dollar horses together in the past. Hadid herself competed as an equestrian in her teen years and had dreamt of competing at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
