He mentioned that they advised him to stay in bed and follow the prescribed treatment. Additionally, he said he may need a pacemaker or defibrillator, depending on the advice after his follow-up appointment. He also shared the precautions he’s taking to avoid putting his life at risk prematurely.
Ray J gives details on intense treatment plan
In a recent conversation with TMZ, Ray J revealed that his doctor has recommended him eight different kinds of medications. These include cholesterol medication Lipitor, Jardiance, and Entresto for his heart failure risk. He shared that he has just a few months to live. So, doctors have asked him to stay in bed and follow the treatment plan. He has also been warned not to smoke or drink, as it could worsen his condition.
However, during this time, what’s more challenging for him is that he isn’t able to see his kids, who are currently kept under a criminal protective order. This has made him realize that he seriously needs to make changes in his lifestyle. Ray J also mentioned that only his follow-up appointment would be able to reveal whether he actually needs a pacemaker or defibrillator for his condition. Also, he believes that Haiti might have a cure for his diagnosis. While he’s aware of the chaotic condition on the island, he does look forward to a trip over there to find a solution for his heart disease. Concluding the conversation, he added, “If I come out of this, I’ll be stronger and a better person.”
Earlier, Ray J went live on Instagram to share an update on his heart health with his followers. He said, “2027 is definitely a wrap for me.” Pointing towards his heart, he added, “This is black. This is, like, done.”
