President Donald Trump used his X account on January 26, 2026, to promote his wife, Melania Trump’s new documentary, writing, “MELANIA, the Movie, is a MUST WATCH. Get your tickets today — Selling out, FAST!” The post included a link to Amazon for ticket purchases and an image credited to photographer Regine Mahaux.

The documentary, titled Melania, covers the 20 days leading up to Trump’s 2025 inauguration from the perspective of the first lady. It focuses on Melania Trump’s preparations to transition the Trump family back into the White House. The film is the debut production from Muse Films, a company that Melania Trump announced in November 2025.

Director Brett Ratner, known for the Rush Hour franchise, directed the documentary. He faced sexual assault allegations in 2017, though authorities did not file criminal charges. The film will premiere in theaters and on Amazon Prime on January 30, 2026, with early buzz already generating high ticket demand across major cities.

Organizers will host a premiere screening on January 29 at the Trump-Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The venue was formerly known as the Kennedy Center. On January 24, Melania Trump hosted a private screening at the White House. A select group of guests and political allies attended the event.

Amazon will distribute the documentary. The company confirmed its simultaneous theatrical and streaming release. Donald Trump shared a ticket link that directs users to Amazon’s event platform. Fashion photographer Regine Mahaux shot the film’s promotional poster and official imagery. The announcement and promotion of the film come ahead of Trump’s second term in the White House.
