Prince William will be the next King of Britain. Meanwhile, his wife, Kate Middleton, is making sure his coronation will be an affair to remember. The Princess of Wales is not only “in charge of William’s coronation,” but she is also “working behind the scenes to ensure it’s all mapped out and agreed upon as quickly as possible,” an insider revealed to RadarOnline.com

And for things to go as smoothly as possible, “Kate’s got plenty of help from senior courtiers.” Even “expert planners” are helping the future Queen “with the logistics and consulting with her, as well as King Charles and other senior royals.”

According to the sources, the coronation will more likely have modern proceedings. Due to this, “it makes total sense that Kate would want to be front and center with the planning.” The source added, “she knows better than anyone what type of ceremony William would want.” Moreover, due to her “impeccable taste,” both her husband and King Charles “trust her implicitly to make the right judgment calls.”

“Plus, her discretion and sensitivity are second to none, which is crucial given the overwhelming delicacy of the occasion,” the source added. The source further revealed that during the planned ceremony at Westminster Abbey, William might miss a part of the ceremony. The part is known as the “homage of the people.” It consists of individuals swearing to “pay true allegiance to your majesty.”

“There’s no way he will go down that route,” confessed the tipster. The ceremony will even be “less opulent than previous coronations.” The royal couple “don’t want it to be too showy or ostentatious.” “Nonetheless, there will still be plenty of pomp and fanfare,” with his three children as part of the ceremony. Even his “aunt Princess Anne, uncle Prince Edward, cousins like Zara Tindall, the Spencers, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice will all be front and center,” the insider said.
