Sabrina Carpenter teams up with Super Bowl for first-ever ad
Sabrina Carpenter scores her first-ever Super Bowl ad for the snack brand Pringles. On January 14, the “Espresso” crooner’s fan account shared a teaser for the ad that Pringles will air during the Super Bowl. In the video, Carpenter has donned an oversized white turtleneck dress. She holds up a flower made of Pringles chips serving as petals and plucks them off one by one.
The “Manchild” singer alternates between happy and sad expressions as she chants, “He loves me, he loves me not.” Soft instrumental music plays in the background as Carpenter plays the game, hoping for it to turn in her favor.
Interestingly, in the end, luck indeed favors her as she gets, “he loves me.” Carpenter promptly pops the chip into her mouth. The text on the screen reads, “2.8.26,” the day of the 2026 Super Bowl. Notably, the ad targets “Single Pringles” who might tune into the coveted event all by themselves.
For those unversed, brands consider the Super Bowl as the most lucrative playground for their biggest marketing campaigns. The high viewership guarantees advertisers massive eyeballs, publicity, and revenue (via Billboard).
Unsurprisingly, the post has garnered 21,000 likes, 1,600 bookmarks, 1,700 retweets, and 55 comments. One fan commented, “Sabrina + Super Bowl + Pringles is a combo nobody knew they needed, but everyone loves.” “Iconic”, a second fan wrote. “Sabrina Bowl,” a third fan coined a new term for the singer. Finally, one fan penned, “Awwww, Pringles are so addictive,” followed by a fire emoji.
Pringles will release the full commercial during the Super Bowl ad break. On the work front, Carpenter has bagged six nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards. The Grammys will take place one week before the Super Bowl, on February 1.
