The White House responds to Donald Trump flipping off a Ford plant worker yesterday. TMZ’s video went viral; meanwhile, the White House issued a statement defending the President.

White House communications director Steven Cheung revealed, “A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response (via Fox News Digital).”

On Tuesday, TMZ published a video showing Trump walking through the Ford River Rouge complex in Dearborn, Michigan. Directed at the President, a Ford worker shouted, “pedophile protector.” To which he responded by hurling the expletive “f** you” twice and flipping him off in the worker’s direction.

The Ford worker, who identified himself as the heckler, revealed he was later suspended from his job. Additionally, the authorities launched an investigation into the incident.

TJ Sabula, a 40-year-old United Auto Workers Local 600 line worker at the factory, confirmed to The Washington Post that he heckled President Trump. Sabula said, “As far as calling him out, definitely no regrets whatsoever.”

However, he did not dismiss the fact that he was concerned about his job’s future. He believes he has been “targeted for political retribution” for “embarrassing Trump in front of his friends.”

TJ Sabula admitted he has voted for several Republican candidates in the past, but has never voted for Donald Trump. He also referred to himself as “politically independent,” seemingly clarifying that he acted on his own accord.

Furthermore, Sabula estimated that he was roughly 60 feet away from President Trump at the time. Moreover, he confessed that the President could hear him “very, very, very clearly.”
