In a conversation with Vanity Fair, Teyana Taylor addressed where her friendship with West now stands, following his controversial remarks on social media over the years. She said, “I don’t have to agree with everything that he do or say, but I’m not going to, like, abandon him and be like, ‘Yeah, eff that motherf*cker.” Giving an example of how she has varied opinions with her brothers too, she added, “My brothers do shit that I don’t agree with…. I don’t get into none of that.”

Taylor further elaborated, “If you want a real answer, you ask me. So if he asks me something, he knows he’s gonna get a real answer. I do my s–t behind the scenes and do what I need to do to help.”

Teyana Taylor and Kanye West’s first collaboration dates back to 2012, when the former worked on West’s album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. At the time, West signed her to his label, with the duo further partnering on other projects, including the 2018 album “K.T.S.E.” and the “Fade” music video.

Additionally, Taylor also recently co-starred alongside West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, in the legal drama series, “All’s Fair”. It follows highly skilled female attorneys who established their law firm in Los Angeles, California. While dealing with the demands of their career, they also navigate personal challenges, complicated relationships, and internal tensions.
