A thief stole the “beloved” walrus p*nis bone from the popular New Jersey restaurant, Donkey’s Place. Not just that, the owner is adamant about getting back their restaurant’s prized possession. Interestingly, the p*nis bone was a fan-favourite amongst the customers there as well.
Restaurant owner demands walrus p*nis back after it was stolen
In one of the most bizarre heists, a thief stole a “beloved” walrus p*nis bone from New Jersey’s famed cheesesteak joint, Donkey’s Place. The staffers working there are displeased, as the walrus genitalia was one of the restaurant’s main customer attractions.
An unnamed bartender revealed that three men who had been “drinking for hours” requested to see the walrus p*nis bone. Seizing their chance, one of the three men picked up the genitalia and ran with it. The bartender shared, “I can’t even believe he did this. Let’s find the guy who stole Donkey’s you-know-what” (via New York Post).
The owner, Rob Lucas Jr., revealed, “The bartender handed it out for them to figure out what it was. She went to the back to do something else, and then one dude stole it. We got his picture, but I don’t think he’s from around town” (via NJ.com).
The bone was a good luck charm and served as a conversation starter at Donkey’s Place in Camden. Remarkably, renowned chef Anthony Bourdain once praised the restaurant as the area’s “best cheesesteak” spot. New York Post shared a hazy picture of the thief who allegedly bolted out of the restaurant with the walrus p*nis. The thief sported thick stubble and layered clothes. He grinned, clutching a cocktail, before leaving with the p*nis bone.
Restaurant owner Lucas pleaded, “I wasn’t thinking that they would do something like this. If the person who stole it is watching this, please bring it back. Not the same without it.” Additionally, the owner expressed that they don’t want to press charges as long as the thief returns the bone to them. Lucas added, “We didn’t want to file a police report or anything like that. We just want the thing back.”
