The Twitch streamer kicked off one of his most elaborate and ambitious live streaming projects with a 28-day tour across 20 countries titled “Speed Does Africa.” From racing with cheetahs to barking at deer in a safari, Speed certainly knows how to keep his audience hooked.
IShowSpeed barks at wild animals during Africa tour
It appears IShowSpeed is having the time of his life on his Africa tour. Speed’s official fan account, IShowSpeedHQ, shared a clip from his latest live stream with the caption, “WATCH: Speed spotted a bunch of deer at the Botswana safari and started chasing them while barking.”
In the brief snippet, the 20-year-old streamer started barking at a bunch of deer nearby. He took a sip from his drink and remarked, “Yeah, let’s do it.” Then, in trademark Speed style, he jumped down from his moving jeep and chased the herd of deer. He quipped, “I shall speed, baby, caffeine kicking in. Let’s go.”
The frightened deer ran off in different directions as Speed slowed down. He suddenly realized that he might have dropped his phone somewhere during the safari. The deer paused to stare at Speed’s jeep as the streamer exclaimed, “Wait, wait. Don’t go away.”
He climbed back onto his safari jeep, enjoying a hearty laugh with his tour guide and crew members. Towards the end, he says, “Let’s go. Vamos. I’m from Ohio. I had seen deer all the time.”
It comes as no surprise that Speed’s encounter with a herd of deer garnered 1.6K likes, 117 retweets, 72 bookmarks, and 51 comments. One fan joked, “You might just chase them and they’ll mistakenly lead you to a lion.” A second fan remarked, “He has so much energy.” A third fan quipped, “They were luring you to the lions, Speed.
