While attending the Palm Springs Film Awards Festival on Saturday, January 3, 2026, actor Michael B. Jordan listed everything he took from the Sinners’ film set (via Desert Sun).
“I brought Stacks’s lighter,” the Creed star said, as he began his list. “I got his grills, too, and I got both their hats. Stack always had dice in his pocket, so I had dice. And I brought a whole bunch of his smoked cigarettes that he had. You know, the fake cigarettes that he had as a kind of, you know, something I wanted as a keepsake. So, I have all those,” he said.
Jordan played the identical Smokestack twins in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. The Black Panther actor has received widespread praise for his role and was recently honored with the Icon Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival for it. He is also nominated for the upcoming Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globes.
Set in the 1930s, the movie follows the story of twin brothers Smoke and Stack Moore, who return to Mississippi to open a juke joint. However, everything goes wrong on their opening night after their cousin, Sammie’s soulful performance, attracts a trio of vampires led by Remmick.
Sinners not only became one of the biggest hits of the year, but it is also seemingly in the running for multiple awards for the upcoming Academy Awards, including Best Directing, Best Picture, and Best Actor in a Leading Role categories. The movie also featured Jack O’Connell, Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, and Andrene Ward-Hammond, among others.
After the award season, Jordan has two upcoming movies—The Thomas Crown Affair and Creed IV—both of which he is directing.
