On January 1, TMZ published a report announcing the death of Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter, Victoria.

The renowned celebrity-focused tabloid organization recounted the learnings of law enforcement officers present at the scene, who confirmed Victoria’s death after discovering her body at the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco on Thursday morning. A San Francisco Fire Department spokesperson revealed that officials had received a distress call at 2:52 AM from the said hotel, leading to the dispatch of a paramedics unit.

However, shortly after their arrival, the responders revealed that Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter had already passed away. A San Francisco Police Department representative later noted that officers reached the hotel premises at approximately 3:14 AM after receiving the report of a death that had occurred at the establishment. Despite the subsequent investigation, officials have yet to confirm the true cause of Victoria’s passing.

Just like Tommy Lee Jones, his daughter had also garnered multiple film and television roles before her untimely death. She famously appeared alongside her father in 2002’s Men in Black II before acting in 2005’s western hit The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. That year, Victoria also featured in the noughties TV series One Tree Hill, portraying the role of a cheerleader.

Notably, Victoria’s turn in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada drew much praise from her father, who stated, “She’s a good actress, has her SAG card, speaks impeccable Spanish,” while talking to The New Yorker in an earlier interview.

Victoria was born to Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
