Whistleblower Behind Explosive Howard Lutnick-Epstein Emails Found Dead at 57 — Report

British whistleblower Simon Andriesz, who exposed the connection between the US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, and the late convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein, is dead at the age of 57. The former banker dug through the millions of Epstein Files released by the DOJ and found emails suggesting Lutnick and Epstein discussed a start-up business.

Simon Andriesz uncovered a 2018 exchange concerning a company in which Epstein and Lutnick had interests

Former banker and whistleblower Simon Andriesz died at age 57, Transparency Task Force campaign group founder Andy Agathangelou confirmed. According to a report by The Daily Beast, Agathangelou has revealed that Andriesz died by suicide on September 23. He said Andriesz was “a valued member of our community” and that it was sad he had passed away. Andriesz, who previously worked as a managing director at a Wall Street firm, had discovered an email chain between Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein in the files.

The email chain suggested Lutnick and Epstein discussed a digital advertising start-up called Adfin, in which they were both involved. The late whistleblower searched the files for HWL, where direct emails between Lutnick and Epstein from 2018 appeared. Talking about the expose, Andriesz told the BBC, “I’m exposing Howard Lutnick’s relationship, financial links, with Jeffrey Epstein, and there’s no interest.”

Andriesz shared his findings with the House Oversight Committee, after which Lutnick appeared before the House and said he hadn’t known Epstein was an investor in the firm. His representative and friend John Robertson started a GoFundMe, saying, “Following Simon’s tragic death, those of us who knew and cared about him want to make sure that something positive and lasting is created for the family he leaves behind.” The fundraiser’s target is £70,000 ($92,527), and so far, £39,926 ($52,770) has been raised.
