Lily Allen and David Harbour’s split is reportedly entering a tense new phase. According to insiders, the estranged pair is bracing for difficult mediation sessions. With a shared property portfolio, financial negotiations, and unresolved questions surrounding family dynamics, sources say the process is shaping up to be more complicated than either had hoped.

As the “Smile” singer and the “Stranger Things” actor prepare to untangle their nearly five-year marriage, a source says Harbour is struggling with the public spotlight surrounding Allen’s recent music. According to the insider, Harbour has been “reeling from all the humiliation” he feels the album has brought him. That is because several tracks sparked speculation that Allen was addressing alleged infidelity during their relationship.

Allen’s album “West End Girl” was released after their reported early-2025 separation. As such, it includes pointed storytelling that fans have linked to their breakup. A track titled “Madeline” in particular fueled theories online about alleged cheating. However, neither Allen nor Harbour has confirmed the narrative behind the song. Still, the source told RadarOnline the singer’s artistic choices have made interactions between the pair “incredibly awkward,” especially as they prepare to divide assets.

The source also claims Allen is open to her daughters spending time with Harbour, whom the children “adore.” However, she is said to be less enthusiastic about spending more time with her ex. “The divorce talks were always going to be messy,” the insider suggests, as both sides navigate emotional baggage and public chatter.

Adding another layer to the tension are renewed rumors surrounding Harbour’s connection to costume designer Natalie Tippett. Reports in the Daily Mail have suggested the two may have recently reconnected. Tippett previously worked with Harbour on the 2021 Netflix film “We Have a Ghost.” Moreover, she was identified in earlier reports as the woman allegedly involved in an affair during his marriage. Sources also claimed Tippett was seen in Winnipeg around the time Harbour was filming “Violent Night 2,” though her presence there has not been officially linked to him.
