Sydney Sweeney recently addressed the rumors and public fascination surrounding her body, particularly her breasts, offering a clear and definitive statement on a topic that has followed her career.
Sydney Sweeney talks about her breasts
Sydney Sweeney cleared up misconceptions about her body during Vanity Fair’s lie detector test. In the video released on December 11, Amanda Seyfried led the questioning with everything from vices to TikTok habits before getting to what she called the question “on everyone’s minds recently.”
“I just have to ask, are your boobs real?” Seyfried said, to which Sweeney laughed, nodded, and replied, “Yes.” Seyfried immediately followed up: “Have you ever had any work done on them?” Sweeney shook her head and said, “No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.” The polygraph examiner confirmed the answers were truthful. Seyfried then quipped, “Can I touch them?” to which Sweeney responded, “Sure.”
The actor had already addressed these rumors earlier in the week during an interview with Allure. “Let’s debunk them all. I mean, I have never gotten work done,” she said. Further, she stated, “I am so scared of needles, you have no idea.”
Sweeney, who has been acting since childhood, also pushed back against online comparisons of her appearance. “You cannot compare a photo of me from when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting! Of course I’m going to look different,” she said, calling social media users “insane.”
Beyond the viral moment, the duo covered several lighter topics. Sweeney admitted her biggest vice is being addicted to candy. Sweeney then turned the tables, asking Seyfried whether she had ever been a “mean girl” in Hollywood or school. Seyfried said no, though she did confess to borrowing clothes and probably not returning some.
The pair will soon share the screen in The Housemaid, a psychological thriller based on Freida McFadden’s hit novel.
