Eminem’s NSFW request was rejected by this Titanic star

In a hilarious and unexpected revelation, Kate Winslet unveiled a long-kept secret from her 2004 Saturday Night Live hosting debut. The Divergent actress left everyone in stunned giggles upon revealing rap sensation Eminem’s NSFW (not safe for work) request. The Mockingbird hitmaker had asked Winslet to shave off his butt when they appeared on SNL together.

“When I was on, it was the week after Ashlee Simpson was done for lip-syncing. I’m then on with Eminem”, the Emmy winner started. “This is a story I’ve never, never told”, teased Winslet, before declaring, “Eminem asked me to shave his bottom”.

The Lee actress stated Eminem, asking her, “Would you shave my butt?” In her bewildered yet hilarious response, Winslet said, “I’m sorry. I don’t do personal grooming”. “Like, what? I’m not going to go with a BiC and get your crack, love! Never told that story before ever in my life, ever in public”, Winslet said, recalling the 8 Mile star’s request.

Further referring to her 2024 appearance on The Graham Norton Show in which she recounted the time she “nearly did a poo on stage”, Winslet jokingly said, “There’s always like a poo-bum theme for me when I come on the show”.

The recent episode also saw Kate Winslet talking about her experience of hosting SNL. The Golden Globe winner called it “terrifying” as she was juggling Finding Neverland promo chaos, leaving her with limited time to work on her monologue script. The October 30, 2004, episode of SNL was Winslet’s first and last time hosting the decades-long sketch comedy program.
