CM Punk’s Post About John Cena Perfectly Sums up Their Rivalry & Friendship

CM Punk recently took to social media to share an emotional message for John Cena as his final chapter in WWE approaches. He thanked Cena for the “stories, the memories, the lessons” over the years. CM Punk posts heartfelt message for John Cena

CM Punk recently shared on Instagram an emotional farewell note for John Cena as his retirement comes close. He posted an image of himself, Cody Rhodes, and Cena, standing side by side with their respective WWE belts.

His caption read, “Thank you for the stories, the memories, the lessons. Thank you for the competition. The rivalries and the teamwork alike. Side by side. The view changes. Thank you for the house.”

Cena confirmed his retirement during an appearance at Money in the Bank in Toronto, Canada, revealing that he’ll close his WWE chapter in 2025. Earlier, in a conversation with Good Morning America, Cena revealed whether he has any plans to come out of retirement in the future.

He said, “There is no way. There is absolutely… I don’t want to speak in absolutes, because I don’t want to close any opportunity, but I made a promise to the fans who’ve allowed me to be here for a quarter of a century. They allowed me to sit with you today. I wouldn’t want to disrespect them like that. This is an event — when people attend, it’s very exclusive.”

Recently, Cena competed in his final WWE Raw match, emerging victorious in a 6-Man Tag bout at Madison Square Garden. He celebrated his win with his signature “You Can’t See Me” move. Earlier this month, he also faced off with Dominik Mysterio, winning the Intercontinental Championship.
