John Cena surprised many fans this week after unveiling a dramatically different appearance on social media. The WWE legend and Hollywood star recently shared a photo of himself with a freshly shaved head as he prepared for a second hair transplant procedure, quickly sparking discussion across the internet.

John Cena posted the image on X on June 29 alongside his doctor and revealed that he had undergone another follicular unit excision (FUE) treatment. The procedure involves extracting individual hair follicles from donor areas and transplanting them to regions experiencing hair loss.
“Round 2 of FUE treatment, and this time I went all in for best possible results,” Cena wrote in the post while thanking his medical team for supporting him throughout the process.
The actor first opened up about his hair restoration journey during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” in April 2025. At the time, he candidly admitted he had undergone a hair transplant and encouraged others not to feel embarrassed about seeking treatment for hair loss.
Cena later told People that years of comments from wrestling fans about his thinning hair motivated him to explore his options. The 17-time WWE world champion explained that he wished he had addressed the issue sooner and hoped his openness would help reduce the stigma surrounding hair restoration procedures.
In recent interviews, Cena has continued to discuss his extensive hair-care routine. Along with hair transplants, he regularly uses red-light therapy, topical treatments, vitamins, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to maintain his results.
Speaking to Us Weekly earlier this month, Cena said he felt great about the progress he had made and remained committed to improving his hair health. He also emphasized the importance of consulting professionals and learning about available treatments.
