Golden Bachelor Host on Who Should Be Next Golden Bachelorette

The Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer has revealed his pick for the lead of the next season of The Golden Bachelorette. His choice was Debbie Siebers, one of the contestants of The Golden Bachelor Season 2. In a recent interview, he expressed his admiration for the contestant and her story, stressing how she touched the hearts of many people.

Debbie was eliminated from the dating reality series in the October 22, 2025, episode. Her elimination left Peg Munson and Cindy Cullers as the final two remaining contestants vying for Mel Owens’ affections. However, despite her elimination, she made a strong impression on Owens.

Jesse Palmer on who should be the next Golden Bachelorette

In a recent interview, Jesse Palmer was asked about the possibility of Debbie Siebers becoming the next Golden Bachelorette. The interviewer pointed out Siebers’ stardom within the show. They also pointed out how she was supported by The Golden Bachelor’s viewers and costars.

Palmer responded by expressing his admiration for Siebers, saying that she could lead The Golden Bachelorette Season 2.

“I personally love Debbie, and I think her incredible story resonates with many,” the TV personality told Entertainment Weekly. “I absolutely believe she should be in the running to be our next Golden Bachelorette!”

Palmer’s comments come shortly after Debbie Siebers opened up about the possibility of leading The Golden Bachelorette’s next season. In an interview with Swooon, she said she would “definitely consider” the idea, adding, “I mean, how could I possibly pass up an opportunity like that?”

However, she acknowledged that leading the next season of The Golden Bachelorette would be “challenging.” She elaborated by pointing out how Mel Owens struggled throughout The Golden Bachelor Season 2, making decisions concerning potential partners.

“But I also feel it would be an extraordinary opportunity because, listen, I’ve gone to matchmakers, where they do all the work,” the 65-year-old further stated. “And so at least you know certain things about a person, instead of going in completely blind.”

The fitness instructor continued, “And this, I know for a fact they vet you quite a while, and you have to really go through a lot to be considered.” She added that she would be meeting men who were “vetted” beforehand and not randomly, because of which they would be honest about themselves with her. She remarked, “That would be something, wouldn’t it?”
